How to use photos

Adding a photo to a page is simple.

1: Upload the photo

Picture of a baby Log into Treeline CMS.

From the menu on the left side, click Create Content.

Click Add to the image library, and complete the form.

Note that images larger than 800 pixels wide or high, or larger than 1Mb cannot be uploaded on this demonstration version of the system.

Treeline CMS automatically resizes the image to each size required by your website. If the design of your site demands it, Treeline CMS can perform other tasks such as adjusting colours, applying effects and filters to the image, etc.

2: Create or edit a page

Create or edit a page.

Use your mouse to click the beginning of a paragraph of text. This will be where the image is placed (although it can be moved later).

Click the Image Library icon (it looks like a small green tree). This will open your image library, and display thumbnails of the images. You can search the library, or browse by category.

Click the thumbnail of the image you want to use. You will then be shown the image in every size available. Choose which size you want to add. The Image Library will close, and your image will be placed in the page.

3: Wrapping text around an image

To make the text wrap around an image, add the image and text to the page (as described above).

Then select the image (click on it once).

Finally, click the Align Left icon in the toolbar (or if you prefer, click Align Right). This will make the text wrap around the image.
